Cincinnati Real Estate Market Statistics 2000 to 2008Homes are still selling, but not like before.   This is a great graph to understand the current real estate market.   The line at the top is the number of homes sold in Cincinnati.  As you can see, the market peaked in 2005.  At the end of 2007 homes where being sold at the same rate as 2002.   The bottom graph shows the number of homes available for sale on the market.   You can see we are at an all time high for the number of home for sale.    The good news is homes that are priced right, clean, updated and without issues are selling.  Homes that are over priced, dirty or out of date are just adding to the inventory problem.   Many of my buyer clients are suprised to find out that the best homes are selling fast - many within weeks of being listed!   So keep your eyes open.  There are lots of homes for sale, but the real deals are going fast!
