Welcoming the Youngest, New Cincinnatians!

Greater Cincinnati is a pretty good place to be a kid. Nearly every suburban community has attractions and festivals, arts and sports programs. There are the “big ticket” major attractions, like Kings Island or The Beach Water Park. There are free parks to climb on play sets, ball fields to enjoy and trails to burn off steam. In fact, our parks and recreation systems are some of the best around, with more acreage of green space and devoted urban parkland than other major urban areas. We have wonderful museums to visit. Where is the Good Shopping?

I remember when I first moved to Cincinnati over 20 years ago, I had two little girls that needed outfitting for their new school, and a new home to decorate. I wanted to know where to find the good shopping! Part of the fun of moving to a new area is going out and finding the stores. We settled in Loveland, so my car quickly found the path to Eastgate Mall. Christmas and special occasion shopping meant trips to Kenwood Towne Center. Wow! Have things changed in 20 + years! Cincinnati Nature Center

One of my favorite places to visit is the Cincinnati Nature Center’s Rowe Woods.
Rowe Woods is located off Tealtown, close to Round Bottom Road in Clermont county.
Rowe Woods, with more than 16 miles of trails, winding up and around 1,025 lush acres, is part of the Cincinnati Nature Center group that also includes Long Branch Farm & Trails in Goshen, Ohio. Read more
